My teeth are ouchy!!

I went to the dentist this morning to have 2 cavities filled.  When I sat down, he found another cavity and a filling.  I had to have 4 shots of Novocaine and I still felt him drilling on one of my teeth which took longer than normal because I had to have him stop drilling twice because of the pain.  My mouth and tongue are numb, the whole right ( Read more... )

You poor thing! I had my teeth drilled a few weeks ago (I went in expecting one cavity, and they found another right next to it- so I can definitely relate to that!). Luckily she gave me enough novocaine so that I didn't feel it- that sucks that you felt it, that sounds SO painful!

God it's awful. The Novacaine started to wear off around lunch time. My boss and another co-worker of mine went somewhere where I could get soup. I tried eating a quiche but to even take bites and open my mouth was hard. I'm feeling better now that I have Ibuprofen in my system!! Wooooo...
