Arnold was an ordinary man but he lived in his own world. He liked to think of himself as a man of action and most people agreed with him. It would have been nice if he actually did things and didn't just talk about it but the truth was that he didn't do much talking either

Oh the familiar sting of rejection. When using a line like that I always feel like, 'this is the time the awkwardly funny yet cheesy line will actually work' but no, always reciprocated with the equally awkward yet cowardly shutdown. *sigh* Well at least I can take solace from reading this that I'm not alone. Or is this entirely fiction? If it is, I feel like a bit of an ass, yet still appreciate the realism reflected in it. I've said to much, when all I wanted to say was I like what I read... I think I'll shut-up now before I embarrass myself further.
