hey a lots been going on now, over spring break my dad all of a sudden need to have open heart surgery his aorta (tube going into heart) was triple the times the size it should have been so that needed to be replaced with a synthetic one and because it was large so long it damaged the valve going into his heart so they needed to replace that with ( Read more... )

My dad had a heart valve replaced with a metal one 9 years ago and also takes Coumadin. Crazy stuff huh, how they can do that.

yea it is crazy, and such a coincidence both of our dads had that done. your dad must have been relatively young also, the doctors were amazed at how young my dad was for this kind of serious problem. and it is amazing how they can replace a valve and keep you alive with pills.
