Friday 17th

So we had out flight booked for 1.05pm on Friday even though the con didn't start till the Saturday but it was just so much easier to travel down on the Friday than the Saturday. So on Thursday night we tried to do the online check in and seemed to get seats fine. We decided to check the flight details just to make sure there weren't any problems only to find out that our flight said cancelled. It was 2am so we decided to go to bed and check again in the morning. Anyway in the morning I went on the Manchester airport website and it said that the flight was defintely cancelled so my mum rang up to try and find out what was going on. They said our flight was cancelled but we had been moved to another one so I checked and the next available flight was 2pm. My mum said this to the guy on the phone but he was ademant the flight was 1.05pm still so we set off at the same time as planned just to be sure. We got to the airport to find out the flight was at 2pm and this now meant 3 hours sitting about in the airport when really we only needed to be there an hour before. But never mind.

The flight lasted just 45mins but then we had to get the tube which took nearly an hour to Earl's Court. It was then another 20 mins of trying to find the hotel. We finally got there at I think about 5pm. Checked in, and went to our room to wait for Sephirayne to arrive at the hotel which she did not long after. Had dinner at the hotel and met up with Gem and Scorch and had a few drinkies in the bar

Saturday 18th

We woke up at about 6am as we knew we had to be up early to have some breakfast, do hair and make up, get dressed and get to the venue for about 8am. When we got there the queue for prepaid was massive, from the front, round the side of the building and 3/4 of the way round it. I'd already found out in the morning that Peter Facinelli wasn't going to be there till Sunday due to missing his flight after forgetting his passport. So we went straight away to see who had virtual tickets and luckily enough no one I wanted to meet had them at this time. We had a bit of a wander round the stalls. Sephirayne arrived later as we had early bird and she hadn't gotten one preordered. Once she arrived we went to meet Anna Walton and OMG she is gorgeous. The pictures of Sephirayne and Anna together are amazing with Sephirayne in her Prince Nuada costume. Think Anna was quite amazed too. We then split off from Sephirayne to go and see Alex Meraz and Justin Chon. They were both really lovely though Alex guessed who we were dressed as before Justin did. I even said to Alex that I had to apologise as I had no idea who his character was as I hadn't read the second book (New Moon) yet and he said its okay he didn't really know who his character was either till after he had finished filming and read the book. LOL!! We also had some photo shoot type thing with some people from Cosplay Fever.

Lost track of what else really went on from there other than meeting Edward Furlong my childhood hero which I told him and Michael Ironside who I'd met before but didn't have an autograph of. We also met up with my friend Tiff who was dressed as Alice Cullen (house costume) but before then we got mobbed by quite a few other Cullen's including another Alice called Vicky and my friend Elli who was dressed as Carlisle. People kept taking pictures and it was awesome. Also near the end of the day we also got Scott Bakula's auto, Mark Ryan's and Chris Sarandon's.

By the end of the day I'd met some amazing people as well as officially adopting Tiff and Vicky as my little sisters. My feet were killing me by the end of the night but either way we still walked to KFC for some dinner then back to the room for more sleep.

Sunday 19th

Was another 6am wake up and at the hall by about 8am. We were let in at 9am and it was straight to get virtual tickets for Peter Facinelli as he now had two days worth of signings and photoshoots to get through. We met up with Tiff and Vicky and decided to go straight to Peter's photoshoot. Was so funny having people staring at our little Cullen Family. We got closer and closer and could finally see Peter and OMG he's one gorgeous guy. When Vicky got there he said "OMG Alice, I've been waiting for you" we were after Vicky and our only reaction was "Emmett.......Edward???" then he grabbed us both and the picture was taken. I just said "Hi" then "See you later for an auto"

After that it was more scanning round the stalls before having to go back to the hotel to check out and take our luggage to the cloak room which luckily only cost £2 for two bags. Once we got back we joined the queue to get Peter's auto. Didn't have much time with him as obviously he had loads of people to get through I told him to update his Twitter more and that I hoped to get an I-Phone so I could get his app. He said he would and said awesome costumes. Told him I couldn't wait for the next movie and would hope to see him again at another con.

There was then more stall browsing and a bit of picture buying as well as Paul getting a Transformers hoodie. Sadly we had to leave at 2pm tho as we had to get back to the airport for our flight.

Once we landed at Manchester we went and got the car then headed back to Blackpool. We cheated for dinner and got Pizza Hut I so couldn't be bothered to cook lol
