I'm so happy you've had that experience. We have a zoo here in Seattle called the Woodland Park Zoo and it is a natural habitat for all the animals. They have a raptor center and program where they show the birds in that same way. They have at least one bald eagle they show and there are two more in a viewing place. There is a nest almost the size of our living room, in a open space all surrounded by metal fencing, and the people view them from inside a room with a huge open wimdow space. These eagles can never be returned to the wild because of injuries and such, so they have been given a wonderful home. They mate for life, so they have their mate with them.
