Dear shipswap author,
Thank you so much for writing me a fic!
General stuff
I don't have tons of squicks. The only things I super don't like is BDSM, noncon, incest, and extreme gore/violence type of stuff. Some dubcon is okay (aliens made them do it, sex pollen, drunk!sex, etc, are all ok - basically I just don't like violence in my sex).
I really enjoy angst, and characters being put through the ringer, as long as it comes out at least somewhat okay in the end (doesn't have to be a happy ending, but not super-depressing would be good, lol). Action/adventure is also awesome, or straight drama. I'm pretty easy to please on the genre-front.
I LOVE AUs. High school, college, coffee-or-some-other-type-of-business shop, etc. Hurt/comfort, apocalypse, time travel, What If?, amnesia, people discovering their love for each other, people confronting feelings, are all things I like.
I love friendships, I love romantic relationships. I love character growth and overcoming obstacles, and I adore witty banter.

The Avengers
Jane Foster/Thor, Bruce Banner/Jane
As you might be able to tell I love Jane a whole lot. I love her love of science - how she becomes so embroiled in her work she becomes your standard scatterbrained genius. But it's so great we get this with a female character instead of a male character for once. Sometimes she ignores people and things around her, she forgets to eat, and cleaning up her place? Forget it. THERE'S SCIENCE TO DO.
For Jane and Thor, I love reuinion stories, post-Avengers. Or Jane visiting Asgard with Thor. Or Loki causing trouble for Jane and Thor. Or Jane and Thor making a life on Earth, and the fun of Jane getting to teach Thor about Midgardian stuff. The fun part of them is their relationship is still so young so they have a lot of exploring and growth to do with each other. :D
For Bruce and Jane, I just imagine them bonding hardcore over SCIENCE! And that they would find refuge in each other away from Tony, when he gets annoying. (Because in my head Bruce, Jane, and Tony all hang out and get science done at Stark Tower together, lol.) Jane likes to solve problems, and I can see her trying to solve the problem of the Hulk (and the delicious angst that might result when she can't).
Marvel 616
Clint Barton/Kate Bishop, Carol Danvers/Steve Rogers
The thing I love about the Marvel 616 comics is all of the strong friendships. And one of my favorite things is friendships-turned-relationships.
Clint and Kate have a great odd couple friendship/partnership thing going. It's been hinted in the comics that Kate digs Clint at least a little, and Clint protests any attraction to Kate so much I can't help but get the feeling he is perhaps trying to convince himself. :P Feel free to go realistic with these two - there would be consequences for the older Clint to hooking up with the younger Kate. It could get angsty. :)
Carol and Steve are another couple of bros, but with them I feel their friendship is based more on similarities rather than differences. They're both so good, and they feel they have a duty to help those around them, and they both take their powers and responsibilities very seriously. I can imagine them getting very close based on that.
Elementary
Sherlock Holmes/Joan Watson, Joan Watson/Marcus Bell
Sherlock and Joan.. they just go together like peanut butter and jelly. :D Just go crazy with these two, really. I am open to ANYTHING. To me, they are the ultimate soulmates!
Joan and Marcus, however, are a bit of a funner ship. They're both young, attractive professionals in New York City. They both dress well. They both love smoothies. And they both get irritated as hell by Holmes. I'm sure they have much to bond over. :D
