It finally caught up to me, the disease that's incapacitated half my household for the past two weeks.   I'm weak and dizzy and I'm pretty sure my guts have decided to secede from the union.  I've made my peace with the knowledge that whatever presentation my educational psychology partner and I can come up with will be lame and humiliating so

I am so sorry you don't feel good. We all had the crud last weekend. Everyone was sick, but Collin and the baby.

Hey babe! You know how it goes. Seems like you get one sickness over with when the next one hits, doesn't it? That sucks that your whole house went down but I'm glad baby Belly didn't get it. Having just arrived in the world only to catch a cold first thing doesn't seem fair.
