The weather, she is deadly: high winds, blowing snow, 0 degrees F (-18 C), and a bracing -22F (-30C) wind chill. The way to school and back was some white-knuckle driving. Wow, I miss that game. My friend Mike put it best when he said "I wish I could play through Silent Hill again for the first time."

Me too. Silent Hill was the first console game I sat down to play since "Earthworm Jim" on the Sega at my folks' house when CDL and I first started dating. Man, that was some scary shit. My hands would start shaking every time I heard the opening music! I couldn't play it by myself--I made CDL stay with me. Later when Resident Evil 4 first came out, CDL made me sit with him. "C'mon! You totally owe me for Silent Hill!"
