I never realized ear infections were so bad. Not as bad as mono, severe menstrual cramps, or rat bites, but they take a solid fourth place on my list of pains

Be careful I had that once and I actually lost some hearing from it.

I have had this for 3 months, in addition to migraines, and a myriad of very bizarre symptoms........

I second photogirl's advice. I once took a motorcycle trip across country and got an ear infection. Like a fool I used the medicine and the symptoms abated, but I didn't return to the doctor for a long time and when I did I found that I was still suffering from a milder infection 6 months later. I think I had it all that time and that is an explanation for a year of poor health. So listen to the advice of an old fool, won't you and do a follow up with your doctor.

One of the things that I noticed when working at a hospital for 15 years was that early ear infections are definitely correlated with behavioral problems in children in later years. I guess its nothing to take lightly.
