I know words mean very little or almost nothing as far as death is concerned, and I know you understand loss.. and that understanding will help you recover over time.. I hope it's an expedient process for you. Perhaps one of the hardest parts of loving someone is knowing there will be an inevitable goodbye, and persisting despite that. We're all heading to the same conclusion, and I can only hope that the love and effort we put into each other and this world means something after we leave it behind, and makes what life we did live worth the struggle in the process. Sounds like you and Homer accomplished that through each other.
I'm very happy you replied, its again been too long since we talked. I absolutely agree with what you said.. only Homer and my grandmother have ever made me want to believe a place like Heaven could exist, if just so they could go on and be happy.
Words can never express how someone feels when a loved one passes away, or can never comfort them from the pain. I'm sorry to hear of your loss, but I'm glad to hear you got to experience love at such a level that pretty much all others never elevated to.
Take care kitty. *hugs* Your cat will now always be with you and always be a part of you.
