Hooray for backwards thinking! Maybe if more states act like assholes, the Supreme Court, which will obviously be full of spineless pussies, will reverse Row v. Wade, and we can go back to the days when women got abortions anyway, except they weren't safe! I miss coathangers, I can tell you that!

Of course, we can't fix the adoption programs either, because it wouldn't be right to allow people to actually give up their rape babies for adoption to parents that are actually at all capable of raising the children. In fact, if we do things right, we can just punish trape victims even more, because damnit, those sluts asked for it, wearing sexy dresses at parties and walking home alone, and especially the ones with the kinds of family memebers that like to forece themselves upon sisters and daughters! Goddamned sinners.

Illegal abortions actually weren't that unsafe. I'd have to see figures on the matter, but It's not that bad. And according to the law, life begins at conception, so if you get an illegal abortion, you have committed murder (or at least thats what I assume).

It's not really backwards thinking either. The supreme court WILL overturn R v. W not because they are, as you call them, pussies, but rather because the majority are now anti-abortion. Normally you wait for a case to challenge a ruling. South Dakota thinks it can speed the process up a little.

I don't think it'll work though. The court sorta hates it when states try and push it around. Since the case doesn't in any way involve the legal circumstances of RvW, I think the court will have to strike the law down until it gets an abortion case that will allow the decision to be overturned.

What bothers me the most is that things like abortion, gay marriage and swearing on TV aren't fucking important. They're just there to whip up the idiots to come out and vote for you. The problem though, is that people who are seriously against these things which are not bad, want to put a stop to them, which will only make things worse for the people that they actually affect. It's simply a case of moral entrepreneurs fucking with stuff that doesn't affect them in the least.

Further, I think the majority just doesn't care one way or the other. I think the outspoken minority that's pro-life outweighs the outspoken minority that's pro-choice, and because this isn't a true democracy, the outspoken minority are always the ones that win.

Happy B-day Romas! **huggles** jinkdarkstar February 24 2006, 01:19:56 UTC
Either side, life or choice, whichever are irritating. How about the idea of Prevention. Heaven forbid we have ppl teach/instruct or even fucking demonstrate the proper use of prophylatics or that male kegel exercises are good too, lol. ZOMG! Cause I remember health class and it was a total crock of shit. Neither side seems much interested in it as much as you would think. They are much more found of throwing out shock statements, blech.

On a lighter note, I got you your B-day and X-mas presents Mr. Navander! ^_^ ~<3
