WMD'ed!

So I was reading this article over at teh Reuters, and I was disturbed by the judge's definition of WMD.  The jurors over in that Moose-whatsit trial asked the judge to explain what a WMD is, and he replied that a plane used as a missile could be considered a WMD.

Is it me, or is the bar now a little lower than it was before?
