Just a quick update to say the initial interview went well, lasted about an hour and a half. I know that they are interviewing at least 2 more people. I don't know when I'll hear if I made the initial cut.

I really think the only thing that might have hurt me is my lack of paid church staff experience. But we will see...

Perhaps more important: does it seem like a church and a program you'd like to work in? People you'd like to work with?

I like this church, I like the atmosphere, but the last DCM they had apparently didn't work out so well. So I think they are a little gun shy and don't want a newbie, but I do have other training and experience, which may work in my favor. I hate waiting.
