Glad to hear from you again. Just normal stuff going on here, but I did find an online copy of the discrimination law against allowing a live-in aide to a person with disabilities. I e-mailed a copy to the management corp above this apartment complex and I've contacted the Human Rights Commisssion and they are sending me out a form to fill out. This time, I'm going all the way with pressing legal charges too. I can re-include the old apartment management also, since I was denied there too, and it's been less than a year. The managers here have done plenty of other acts of discrimination too.
Other than that, it's been normal doctor appointments and shopping, and nothing much else. I have a different homecare assistant because I quit the one agency and hired another one. This one is working extremely well, and this assistant is perfect.
Of course you may ask. I've been physically disabled for about 17 years now. It began with an on-the-job injury to both my feet, causing Plantar Fasciitis, which is a stretching of the tendents that go the length of the underside of the feet. They get tightly stretched like a rubber band, but don't go back in place. I went through 1 1/2 years of physical therapy but they could never get fully back to where they were before. At the same time, I developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia (basically rheumatism in the muscles - mainly near the joints) but it also settled into the calves of my legs. It is a lot like having MS but I don't lose the controls of the nerves controlling the muscles. I do have tightened muscles in my legs all the time, and when I stand for more that 10 minutes, or walk more than half a block, they tighten up even more. And no amount of physical therapy helps anymore, in fact it worsens them because of the extra working of the muscles. On top of all that I get severe fatigue, unlike any regular

Hey , you dont know me but I was touched by your post:/I understand about some of your pain as I toooo have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue when I was very young (19yrs). I could not walk properly for 5 years and this has an extremely bad impact in all aspects of your life. My fibromyalgia was triggered from a cycle racing accident when I was trying to get healthy. Then I took natural therapies and exercised to get over the fatigue and improve the immune system. There is alot of new research at the moment and new books/info on the net. I worked in natural therapies for a few years and trained in Reflexology, every little bit helps. Have you tried malic acid, magnesium or other supplements that support the immune system?????You generally have bad sleep and require constant supplements to keep the body from cycling the illness over and over. The liver needs to be treated as well , grape seed extract, pine bark, try spirulina and natural same antidepressant which is good for fibromyalgia. Everyone responds to different treatments but if

I read your views on the recent massacre at Virgina Tech, and thought you may like to read these: http://news.aol.com/virginia-tech-shootings/cho-seung-hui/_a/richard-mcbeef-cover-page/20070417134109990001
Two plays written by gunman Cho. The plays are ridiculous but it's sort of creepy knowing who wrote them. Enjoy!
