I'm a swimmer and a runner. I'm 5'5" and wear a 12. I am NOT small. I swim the 50 free, the 100 breast, and the 1 & 200 backstroke and will be running in a 5K this October for the LiveStrong Challenge. When I wore a LZR, I literally had to be sewn into it because of my chest and my ass.

Even when I ran track, I was not small. I have a true hourglass figure and it drove my coaches insane. They always wanted to get rid of my ass.... but it wasn't going anywhere.

I have so many body issues that it's painful. But I just try to remind myself that everyone's different and that no one is physically perfect.

Everyone has their own body issues and most people see it much bigger than what others think. Just like someone having a zit. Most of the time people don't notice until the person pointed it out.

I go to the gym often, and so is the spa. Most girls would go at least semi-naked on ladies day, that's when you get to see women in all kinds of shapes. You notice no one is perfect, there's always something you want from others and you'd be surprised how people wants your body too.

It's up to yourself how you want to look after yourself. Before we ask for a dreamy figure, firstly maybe we should ask ourselves if we are healthy enough to get a fit body. Perhaps you don't get a killer figure but people will notice if you spend time looking after yourself and feel good about it. Surprisingly, that doesn't always involve a lot of money.

It's mostly in the mind, not your body.
