So.... LJ has stopped delivering e-mails about my comments. This annoys me to no end, because now I need to remember where I've made all my comments so that I'll be able to reply to the replies *mad* Does anyone know what's wrong and how I can change it? Because at this rate it'll drive me crazy!

I think the big problem is that with so much spam around the world (apparently 95% of email these days is spam) ISPs are trying to find ways to cut it, as it's slowing up and crashing servers. So they are taking drastic steps such as blocking anything they think is spam and they've decided that LJ is spam.

Several ISPs are apparently treating anything from LJ as spam and as such not delivering; I have another friend who has suffered for two weeks without a single comment. Others are more spasmodic, i.e. getting some, another friend stopped getting them yesterday.
One useful tool, that you might or might not know about is: http://www.livejournal.com/tools/recent_comments.bml
It'll show you that last 25 (it may be more, but I know it's dependent on the type of account) of comments posted to your journal. Plus, if you scroll down, you'll see the last 25 comments you posted to other journals, so at least you can see if you've had any comments.
As for the second part, you can't do that. It happens automatically after a certain number of comments have been posted. I don't know how many, but it's a LJ thing that just 'happens'.

Oh well, that's too bad, because it's annoying that the page is twice as wide as usual, and I've got like 48 comments to that entry. *shurgs*
Thank you, the good vibes you sent seemed to help.

It is a pain *sigh*
You're welcome - I'm glad they helped.

They really should have a feature where we can choose when the comments gets grouped together. Because I've got a widescreen computer, so I can only imagine what it must look like for one who's got a smaller screen with not as good resolution... *shudders at the thought*
