2. I got laid off due to budget cuts in the school system...

Rock on....

Hanging in there though. Painting, painting, painting. And gardening. Also now partaking in Zumba.

Trying to focus on the good things. Catching up on various TV series via Netflix. Conquering Mt. Everest of laundry.

did they lay you off because they kind of knew that you didn't want to work there? i mean technically if you're laid off, can't you collect unemployment? you wouldn't be like this girl i went to high school with who's been on unemployment for like 2 years and posts facebook statuses about going to hersheypark and bonnaroo and san francisco and other such crap. you'd actually be productive. and at least you don't have to go back to torture with that district.. focus on yourself and artwork and other things will work out on their own :)
