Cookies. Well, my cookies have gotten some mega-attention in the past week. I made these "Magic Mike" cookies just for fun, and now they have traveled everywhere. Serious biz - EVERYWHERE.

Crazy is the best word, Leslie. All the details are still so up-in-the-air, so I haven't updated about it yet. I figure folks will have lots of questions, and I want to have more answers for those questions before I post. I can tell you that we're likely moving by the middle of next month, but that's about the only firm detail! ;-)

In a surprise move (to me), the base housing actually REQUESTED cookies about a month ago. I was wary, and didn't answer, thinking it was a trick. After 2 days, they contacted me again, letting me know that while it wasn't okay to bake from the home under the old base housing, the new privatization group (which took over July 1st) didn't have such regulations, and all would be just fine. Then they ordered cookies, LOL!

So I'm completely legal again, and it feels nice to make orders for a bit of $$ once more! It's been since February (and that was an emotional month cookie-wise anyway), so this is a relief!
