Just learned that my runny nose and sneezing in the last two days is likely from a high birch tree pollen count.

I've decided not to gather folks for celebrating on my birthday this year.

my dad didn't have to get admitted because his defib shock was due to atrial fibrillationwhen he got home from the hospital after midnight, he had a second two hour episode of atrial fibrillation. he didn't get shocked this time because they changed the defib settings ( Read more... )

my dad's defibrillator had to shock him yesterday.

the doctor said he should head to the hospital asap and might have to get readmitted.

he was discharged last week without any intervention to his blood flow, though moderate to heavy blockage was observed. they might have to rethink that now and that might mean more surgery.

tomorrow i'm going to head to toys R us to pick some new two plus person games to play with my dad next week.

any suggestions? i already have connect 4, boggle, scrabble and chess.
