Lol I always remember that Affect is something done to a person, place, or thing. and Effect is used more as a noun.

"I didnt know how the sound Effect was going to Affect me"

Affect is also refrenced to psycological conditions.

Not always.

The bad traffic Affected my commute today - it wouldnt be effected.

My left hip being lower than the right Affects the way that I walk - again it would not be effected
