Although I am innately stubborn, don't think that your words go unnoticed. Trust me, I remember everything you say, and you just never know what advice I'm taking.

When I said innately stubborn, that reminds me that Evelyn Glennie wanted to be a solo percussionist, and her "innate Scottish stubbornness" (as an interview so aptly put it) made her keep pushing and look at her now.
