That's the crappitiest damn movie I've ever seen and I spent my LAST 8 dollars on it. Johnny Depp's on my shit list.

I haven't seen the movie, but I wouldn't focus my ire on Mr. Depp. I think he probably did the best he could with what he was given.

Now.. I haven't seen the movie, but I bet they (Burton and Depp) had way too many people telling them what to do to make it the superb movie they could have made.

This is remaking near perfection though.

Indeed it is, and my expectations were far too high, however, I ponder at the purpose of a remake so obviously inferior to the original, especially considering the supposed talent of those who created it. Every alteration was a sacrifice, and every addition was an insult, Depp's soulless performance was just the topper.

See it if you will, and if you like it rejoice. I, for one, will keep calling it crappity.
