I just finished watching Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth version) and after much complaining Gavin really enjoyed it.
I wish for others to know this amazing transformation.
At last he has seen it, and can now tell the truth regarding his enjoyment of Jane Austen.

I think all book-to-movie conversions should be done in that style, almost too long, and beautifully detailed.

I agree whole heartedly. if they have to they can add an intermission for those small bladdered people but they shouldn't chop them up like they do these days.
