That flying-around theme is one of two very connected themes in the game. The other is at Kneubuhl's site as Big Valley, and is kind of Spyro's theme. But everything is so musically (and magically) interrelated, and with it being a story and all, Spyro and the world and the quest is pretty much one and the same.
I spent hours and hours just flying around with the first theme. That theme and the other returned several times in the game, like a soul weaving the story together to a unit. Then, when I finally got to the Credits, they play Guide You Home... and it's got Spyro's tune embedded in it! O_O So for me, it was like the afterlife return of the inherent music of the past world of yore, infused with romance, longing, hope, dragons, sadness and soulfulness.
