Im not sure if im going to be going to church next sunday. I love jesus, but I prefer him without the side of anti-abortion talk and preaching about bringing down roe vs. wade. Some may say that I still need to work out the kinks with my relationship with god, but I dont think so ( Read more... )

Fucking politics. Jesus isn't a political fucking platform; I've said that once or twice.

Of course, the church doesn't want the State to get involved in their organization but the church still wants to be involved in the State that's for sure.

Ha, I remember going to Relevant and the kids at a bible study said after a few get-to-know you questions: "Now we want to know the most important thing of all," to Tammy and I. "What is your political affiliation?"

Most important thing of all? Stupid rich Tampa preps.

And if you voice your opinion there, seems to me that it will end like it does in all non-denom churches: BURNED AT THE STAKE FOR HERESY!

That's why my God beliefs or lack thereof at the moment are completely personal and I don't talk to anyone about them.
