I'd like to play online with you, but you seem to be severely lacking in games like Gears of War, Call of Duty 2 and Kameo. I mean, I could play Ninja Turtles with you, sure.
There's a game called "Catan" available in XBox Live Arcade. It's based on the kick-ass board game "Settlers of Catan". Really fun, and only costs about $6.00.
If you ever want to play, I can walk you through the rules and all that.
As far as the games you mentioned go - you know me & FPS games...
I am a Luddite that lacks a next-gen console. But when I do, I shall rule the game-o-sphere. Or get raped by foul-mouthed 12 year olds. Probably the latter.
Definitely pick up a 360 when it is financially feasible to do so. Live has actually been pretty cool for me so far... I haven't been cursed out by more than 1 or 2 twelve-year-olds so far! :)
I'll keep this as a response.....but fleshed it out into a post for myselfensign_amazingMay 18 2007, 15:36:57 UTC
I've actually been giving that, and gaming as an issue a lot of thought. My heart says I've been a gamer since the Atari 2600......but aside from online poker and the occaisional Wii bowling...I haven't gamed in months. I just never find myself with a few hours to spare and at the same time saying "you know what I wanna do? play video games!".
FFXII and paper mario lie half played, even though I know that they are fun. If I got a new system, besides Halo, Zelda, Metroid, FF, and MarioKart, would I play anything? and if not....is that really worth the capital outlay?
hmm....maybe I'll find the time to play some halo 2 for a little bit. Do the kids still do that? Is my Xbox live account still active? I'd hate to have to pay for another year for it as the system becomes more and more antiquated.
