I guess it's Vista or nothing...

I've probably at least mentioned to some of you my on-going quest to get the holy-hell rid of Vista from my laptop. Well, I don't mind Vista per-se, its more the 64-bit edition that's irking me.

So, my predicament is this... My Vista license is for an Upgrade, which means that I can install clean if I want to, but my product key won't work.

Funny thing: my roommate actually likes the 64-bit edition better. I forget why, but it basically has the issue of older software doesn't always work right and drivers for hardware can be a bit more difficult to get hold of. He seems to be doing fine, though, as am I using 32-bit Vista (though it should be able to do 64-bit, oddly enough: it just won't let me despite having a 64-bit card).
