A couple weeks ago I started a new medication which kicked my butt for over a week. I didn't sleep for days, had horrible stomach pains and still had to take my exams. As for now, it's working out well enough, instead of taking the whole ??mg I started cutting them in half. The stomach pains are almost completely gone and I can at least sleep

I love Spock and hopefully they weren't cowards and actually made an Uhura/Spock love connection, LOL.

I am so excited for Star Trek! I cannot wait! Everyone has been pressuring me to get out and see it, but I promised my sis we would see it together. :D

Anyway, a year or two ago they redid all the special effects for the original series so it might not be so "bad" its still pretty much slow and maybe boringish to you but the ship, planet, and viewscreen amongst other things while keeping the original actors intact. You might be interested in watching that. Or Star Trek: Enterprise deals with a time period before the original series and it was made more recently I think ending in 2006 or 2007. I've been watching it recently and remember thinking it sucked when it first was on TV but going back and watching more than the first 4 episodes it is pretty alright.

i'll definitely have to check it out.
i know that some people were bothered by the "alternate reality" thing. it didn't occur to me that it wasn't that accurate until i did some reading on the original series.
glad you at least thought it was pretty good.
