Hrm, me likey. It's final enough that it can stand on it's own, with the reader happily knowing that whatever crazy comes their way our boys can press through, but open-ended enough that the 'verse can be expanded without any difficulty.

I don't usually read fics with pastor Jim in them, and I'll admit that my memory of the character is a bit fuzzy, so I just sort of substituted his image with that of Shepard Book from Firefly and everything seemed to work out just fine.

Overall a charming read.

Thank you! I think I can speak for both of us when I say that we both like the character of Pastor Jim because he's so open for interpretation - he's only shown to us for a brief glimpse, but he seems especially important after Sam admits that he prays. To be honest, I can see him as Shepard Book in a lot of ways... I love that guy!

I'm glad that you enjoyed it... and there'll be at least a few timestamps from this 'verse, although I hear that there might be talk of a sequel ;)
