Apparently it's too much to ask that certain people stay in contact with me. I don't know what hurts more, the fact that you never respond to anything I say, or the fact that we were obviously never friends to begin with. Long story short, you've been cut from my friends list. And a few others whose journals I just don't bother reading

i know what you mean, i get a little offended if i don't get any comments.
it's not even the comment itself, it's just the principal of the matter. it's the thought of knowing someone cared enough to read it and take the time to add a little input.

I know how you feel about LJ comments. Sometimes I get the feeling no one even bothers to read mine. I'd give it up altogether but I enjoy it too much :/
