Im new to the NCAA Football & have ALWAYS been a NFL fan. My husband is a HUGE Florida State fan (Since we live rght down the street from FSU LOL) & Im slowly but surely learning everything about NCAA. I was wanting to know other people's opinion about FSU, coach Fisher, & the team this year. I think our defense is strong & we can get into the red

There is a big contingent of West Virginia folks in the FSU program, so I don't mind the Seminoles so much. I also figure you're going to play a factor as to which conference the Mountaineers end up in. If you think FSU treated Bowden poorly, he was anged in effigy in Morgantown for going 4-7, so we played a big role in pushing him back to FSU. Even though I wasn't born at the time, I still hold it against our fanbase as proof that a lot of Mountaineer fans have scarce a clue on how to gauge talent.

Like others have said, before you call Bowden a joke again, you should read this from his wikipedia page: Bowden became the head coach of the Florida State Seminoles because the climate was warmer than in Morgantown, and because Tallahassee was closer to Birmingham, Alabama, where his mother and mother-in-law both lived.
