So. I need to decide where I'm living next year. By friday. (Yes, a year in advance and no, not just for my own personal type-a-need-to-plan-ahead-ness but for serious job things). I don't have to be 100% positive, but at least 80%.

Heh. Well, my choice is Boston, but that's just because I'm crazy for it. I lived in DC for a couple of years. It was okay, but it's definitely a temporary sort of place. It doesn't really feel like a place with its own character. Or, at least, it didn't to me. And it RUNS on politics, so you have to be someone who likes that stuff.

But, as I said, I am so in love with Boston it's ridiculous, so you should temper everything I say about DC.

I live in DC!

Well, I might be living in DC. A lot of my friends are staying in the area so I may end up here.

DC is also a really young city, in terms of ages of people living here, so if you're going to live in DC sometime, do it when you're in your twenties. Its what all the cool kids are doing. ;)

Also, DC has other awesomeness then free museums, is walkable and highly public transportationalized, and is the kind of perfect distance from home, in that if you want to or need to get home quick, the ticket won't destroy your savings.
