NCIS Big Bang 2021 Author Sign-ups ***CLOSED***
1) Your story must be based on NCIS characters. Crossovers and original characters are welcome.
2) Stories must be a minimum of 5,000 words*. There is no maximum.
3) Gen, Het and Slash are all welcome, as are all ratings.
4) Stories must not be posted in part or in full prior to your scheduled posting date.
5) Stories must be beta'd.
6) If you miss the Artist Claims, you can still post your story without art or you may supply your own art.
7) Your friendly mods least favorite thing to do is to try and track down missing participants. By signing up, you are expected to be reachable and stay in touch with any assigned partner/match-up. You are also expected to monitor this community and adhere to the schedule**. If you need to drop from the challenge for any reason, please notify the mod and your assigned partner ASAP. You are not required to give a reason, just let us know if you are dropping out.
*We are offering a 5K-10K Micro Bang level this year. Authors are limited to one Micro Bang story per year, and a total of three stories per year.
**If you have a gmail account and would like access to view our Google NCIS Challenge calendar, please email ncischallenge (at) gmail (dot) com and use "ADD CALENDAR" for the subject line. I don't check this email all the time unless rough drafts are due, so if you aren't added in a couple days, feel free to comment to this post and that will nudge me.
This calendar includes sign-ups, check-ins, rough draft due dates and will include the posting schedule as well when it is available.
NEW Jan 2021 - Proxy help available for challenges!
You no longer need to have an LJ or DW account to participate in our challenges! We now have volunteer proxies who can provide services to assist those without LJ and DW accounts if they would like to participate in challenges.
