Tony interrogates a suspect?

Does anyone know if there are episodes where Tony is interrogating a suspect in the interview room? I'm working on a fic, and I wanted to see how he usually handles that type of interview. Thanks in advance for any help. :-)

Oh there is, and i remember the girl of the time (can't remember if kate or ziva) and possibly mcgee watching on and laughing in disbelief that surely it won't work... and their surprise when it gets a result and Gibbs with this smug look on his face, like 'that's my boy'. Gah, can't remember what happened in the ep to work out which one it was... have consulted friend.

ok... found this by googling not sure how much help it's gonna be to you though lol. the technique obviously wouldn't work with just anyone. i'm not sure but i think there may have been another ep with him interrogating too ( ... )

you're welcome. i recommend watching the scene though if you have access to it as the script version doesn't really do it justice.

So, i'm watching NCIS repeat this evening and it just happens to be one with Tony doing an interrogation. The episode is Season 2, Ep 20: Red Cell. where a geek sends them messages that lead them to a 'game' that they're playing at ROTC, mcgee can't track it at first but when he does they bring the geek in and tony is the one to interview. i think this is the one i was thinking of where kate is watching and asks what kind of interview technique is that? and gibbs says "the dinozzo technique, it's not pretty but effective." (or words to that effect)

his technique seems to centre on p***ing the suspect off in order to get them to open up by insulting them in some way lol.

Yeah, today I watched "Red Cell," "Iced," and "Singled Out." Although, in "Singled Out," Ziva is in there with him, so it's a different dynamic. I think my favorite is the one in "Iced." 'Course, I was an English major, so Tony correcting someone's grammar was greatly appreciated. ;-)
