What Abby Saw
Abby was bored, no bored solid, no absolutely completely solid. She had finished Everything… well, she was waiting on the Mass Spectrometer to finish. But that really was all. She could go in search of a Caf-Pow!. No, she’d wait for Gibbs to bring one. She wandered over to the picture telephone or “Air-Cam” as she had dubbed it. She had not had time to play with all its adjustments until now. “Let’s see what Ducky is up to..”
A view of on empty autopsy table popped on to her screen. “Nobody there, but…” she said as she clicked on to the Wide angle view “ somebody is there “. Abby’s eyes widened. In the far corner of Autopsy just out of the range of the security cameras stood Gibbs and Ducky, not so unusual, but Gibbs had his arms tightly around Ducky and his chin resting on the shorter man’s head. Abby feeling a bit the interloper, quickly hit the end button. She sat back in her chair for a moment, a big smile spread across her face. She punched her fist into the air, “Yes!” she called as she spun her chair in a happy circle.
