Of course, we all know that Gibbs is the original giver of head-slaps- usually with Tony as his target- but here (as far as I know) are some other head-slap facts
( Read more... )
-Ducky has never head-slapped anyone, although he has mentioned that he 'understands' why Gibbs does it (I can't remember now whether he meant Tony, Palmer or both)
I think the scene you're thinking of is when Ducky asks Gibbs (in relationship to Palmer) "Has headslapping been effictive for you?"
To which Gibbs replies, "Yeah, look how DiNozzo turned out." :)
And when Gibbs threatened Abby, he wasn't going to slap her on the head. ;)
-Tony has yelled at both Kate and Ziva for head-slapping him (he told Kate only Gibbs could do it)
Kate slapped him for a reason (stealing food off her plate), while Ziva slapped him because Gibbs told her to, iirc.

Gibbs has a couple of conversations about headslapping with Ducky after Palmer annoys him - #1 ["Has headslapping been effective for you, Jethro?" "Yeah. Look at the way DiNozzo turned out." ~ 2x17 Eye for an Eye] #2 (can't remember the ep off the top of my head) but Ducky says he started headslapping Jimmy, but suspected he enjoyed it (not that we see these headslaps).

Gibbs, Tony and McGee have all head slapped themselves (or at least given themselves a head slap on behalf of someone else).
I do have a question. Do you think we'll get to see any slaps in S7?
