I liked this ep for one big reason - the writers did not make Deeks a buffoon. They finally treated him like the serious pro he must be to have survived being an undercover cop. I've been so tired of him always being the comic relief. It was good to see him show what strength he has. I think he and G have a lot more in common than they realize.
"Wikipedia" nickname for Kensi = LOL.

I think their picking on him (and him being the comic relief) only made this episode better - it's been a slow build up of respect for Deeks and (especially in Kensi's case) it only makes it more interesting as they reveal his backstory. I love that this character that's so happy-go-lucky and charming has this ~dark past or whatever.
Seriously! She has a cute arsenal of nicknames so far.
