#6- "When You Don't See Me" by Timothy James Beck, sorry I can't send you a copy (I don't even own it, I repeatedly check it out at the library lol) I like it because I love the author's voice and I like that it's kind of a coming-of-age story. It's main character is around his early 20's and he's trying to figure out how to make it in NY on his own after dropping out of art school. It has some post-9/11 themes too. It falls into the slash category too ;) IDK, I just adore it, if you try it you might like it.

Re: #3 - That's awesome! Area has been doing okay, but the danish community I'm in just did a big food drive and when we took our donation (400+ lbs) in, the shelves at the food bank looked so sad and empty. I know in some areas, the decision to drop that extra can of green beans or box of stuffing will be the difference in if a family has a full holiday meal or not.

Re: #6 - Awesome! It sounds great. I'm making a list and as I regularly frequent Half Price Books (a used book store where I buy/sell books), I'm always looking for new suggestions. Thank you!
