The theory is that humans and monkeys all came from a similar ancestor, not that we evolved from monkeys...

That said, I don't believe in the religion of evolution, but I do believe that evolution does occur...

As to the monkeys buying monkey-porn with juice, who comes up with these studies? And more importantly, who funds them?

The post was more just for the comedic value, along the lines of your last point- we're studying WHAT? How much you wanna bet that there is some level of public (read: you and me) funding involved?
