I have two buddies, guys I love dearly, who happen to be lawyers. One is a personal injury lawyer, and he actually has his own tv commercials. I swear to God. Do you have ANY idea how conflicted these friendships make me? Can you POSSIBLY understand how hard it is to be seen in public with these guys ( Read more... )

Depends on how awful the ads are. There was this one guy who had an ad during the superbowl which cracked me up cause it was so horrible. It was abunch of asian tourists watching TV and suddenly the lawyer comes on and they ALL know who he is and they get all excited and stuff. That'd be the type of person I'd never want to be seen with.

Also, if you're interested. I got an Mp3 of Gunny doin cadens from the Full Metal Jacket soundtrack.

Heard that the other day- it is of course disputed, as it is impossible to prove exactly, and the amount of dollars they send out of the country are a DRAIN to the economy. Not to mention the costs associated with there capture, etc, the crimes they commit, the cost to the victims of those crimes (remember the 27 MS-13 members from LI that were convicted sex offenders?), and of course the tragic cost in lives and dollars of 9/11, which is still being felt today.
