I had a great Valentine's Day.
We were going to eat at a tapas restaurant, but when we got there it was all dark and closed up. So instead we went to Spartacus in Cary. It was a little pricey (special V-day menu) but really really good. Then, I got some belgian chocolate brownies from Evan. They were delicious! Minor date change
So our Mary Kay party is being moved from next Sunday to next Saturday. Apparently there was miscommunication between me and my mom and she has the date set for Saturday at 2. She just called to inform me that it cannot be changed to Sunday. For those of you who were planning to come, can you still make it if its on Saturday? Please let me know ( Read more... ) -

Party plans
Unless I hear any further objections, the chocolate party will occur a week from this Thursday, on the 12th of January. It seems to be the best day all around. However, I still have a few details to work out. My classes start back that day and I have one scheduled until 7pm. It may not last that long, but you can never tell. wonderful birthday! Evan and I didn't do a whole lot, but what we did was fun. We ate dinner at Sushi Thai, which we have now dubbed the official special occasion eating place since we went there on his birthday too. Happy Birthday to me
I am getting old. I really don't feel old. I still feel like a kid a lot of the time. It amazes me that my mother already had two kids by the time she was my age and was raising us by herself while working and going to school.
