Which American accent do you have?
Northeastern
This could either mean an r-less NYC or Providence accent or one from Jersey which doesn't sound the same. Just because you got this result doesn't mean you don't pronounce R's.(People in Jersey don`t call their state "Joisey" in real life)

haha I got the same thing. I was sad. People are always so shocked when I tell them I lived in Jersey for 18 years. They're all like "but you don't have the accent!" and I'm all like "no, that's just the Long Island/NY transplant freaks down the shore." Hey! Didn't MTV make a whole series on then it was called ah.. um... Jersey Shore! I hate that show.
