The Englishman entered the room quietly, his briefcase at his side, dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep. Several days of such an intense work schedule was starting to affect him, making him even more irritable than usual, and his usual cup of black tea had been replaced with the most horrible excuse for coffee he'd ever tasted. Every time he took a sip from the stainless steel tumbler, he winced, and set the coffee down again

A meeting. At long last a departmental meeting. The Arab man almost smiled as he read the memo. This was what he was here for. He was here to work and this project was the perfect chance to show how diligent he was.

Gathering notes, papers, and a few writing utensils he made his way to the meeting room. He stopped for a moment to gather himself then opened the door. No one but the department heads were here. Excellent. A perfect opportunity to impress them with his diligence.

He had to admit, he was not one for toys but he was one for research and he had plenty to offer, hopefully that would be enough. "Good morning Director Bonnefoy, Vice-Director Kirkland. I do hope I am not late" he greeted the two, taking a place at the table.
