Having halfway gotten over my sinus infection, I accompanied my friend Paul and pal to the Rush concert at Walnut Creek Amphitheater, and it was awesome. I first saw Rush 17 years ago on the Presto tour. I was expecting to be impressed last night just as I was back then, and they didn't disappoint. Wow, that would have been cool - to see the Signal concert. I do recall the 40 foot inflatable bunnies on stage for the Presto concert where rather fun.

I highly recommend it. I like most of the songs on Snakes & Arrows, but they did play more of their classics than anything else.

Hi Back. I love finding American friends who love Rush. They have been treated like a dirty little secret here since I was a kid. Only the heaviest of metalheads were into them and they were a dangerous crowd.
Nowadays they have been given the respect they deserve as pioneers of not just Canadian music but all music.
A friend of mine scored tickets to their Las Vegas gig. He is probably the biggest Rush fan I have ever encountered. Though, he doesnt have the Bob and Doug MacKenzie LP with Geddy Lees' performance of 'Take Off' on it.

I know what you mean. Rush fans tended to be a rather fringe group, myself included! I've been listening to them for 20+ years now. I'm glad they're work is being appreciated now by a wider audience. They did have a Bob and Doug McKenzie segment during the show, it was great fun.
