sorry man! I know the feeling. It's sad that it makes it almost not worth it to take vacation cause when you get back you are so far behind. But I'm glad the time you had off was nice and relaxing :-)

Glad you had a good week off. I loved being disconnected for a week while in Greece. Sorry you had to come back to the crush of work not done.

Dude, you need to catch up on GiantITP. They have an RSS feed now, so once you're caught up, you can stay that way. :) And just in case you didn't have enough to do. www.drmcninja.com It's mostly funny. He's a Dr. He's Irish. He's a Ninja.

Mmmm...yeah, we're gonna need you to come in on Saturday...

I can't think of too many more that pay as well that don't have some sort of stress. I could take a pay cut and move back into development, but not ready to do that yet.

I can't imagine. I'm pretty much there right now, but it should *end* at some point in the next two months. If I had to maintain this stress level forever I'd probably die young.

Yeah, there are highs and lows, but the lows are just enough to try to catch up on the highs. It's enough to make someone very cynical when you hear about some one else's "bad day", but it's all relative to what you're used to...

My problem is that I let it get to me and I take it personally I guess. I need to learn to "not give a crap" more and let it roll off of me rather than having anxiety over it.

Or I'll just bottle it all up until one day when I exact my revenge.

Yeah--just keep in mind that some people *cough you* thrive on stress, and wouldn't do well in a no-stress environment, so what you might not call a bad day is horrible for them.

But yeah I'm sitting here telling myself "I don't care about these people and my stress is caused by their incompetence, so I don't care about this", but I'm still stressed nonetheless...
