Huzzah! So, Starbucks is giving everyone a pay raise (I don't know how much, not until my next paycheck) but they also said that if you live in a state where they are raising the minimum wage, you would receive another increase come January.

That means Starbucks has just become one hellauva place to work at.

the minimum wage of north carolina is going up in January from 5.15 to 6.15 an hour if what I've read is correct. But not till January.
