2 weeks after my grandmother passed away, I found out that her husband (my grandfather) passed away this morning.

Today was the first day I had where I had started to accept my grandmother... and I get slapped with another tragedy.

How am I gonna cope with all this?

so yesterday i did some research for a sleep article and didnt find much. i also did MORE addresses and then i left early because a lot of bad personal shit went down.

today i organized magazines and wrote two news briefs.

i got feedback on some of the editing and writing that I have done, which I found to be very helpful.

of my internship, and then it's FINALLY back down to just TWO jobs... I tell ya, its been hell running around like this.... also found out that my grandmother is being released from the nursing home (she had to go in so someone else would look after her cuz she wasn't taking care of herself) but that my dad and aunt are selling my grandparents ( Read more... )

i just discovered this show from showtime and it rocks.

thought i'd share.

came in early today..... didnt do much but i got to work with proofs for the first time, double checking and making sure events and course listings were done correctly. then there was a staff meeting and then, amazingly, it was time to go home... :-D

today i did even MORE fact double checking of addresses and such and then i proofed 4 articles, all about cardiac arrests and heart failure... not pleasant considering that's what my grandmother is dealing with.

dammit.

so i just did that list thing some more and then i helped proof an article that my supervisor had written. it was actually pretty decent compared to the free lancers. lol.

today i finished the list and made some changes on an article that i had written. i'm gonna look for more stuff but i might be running home early since my supervisor is out sick
