Holy crap. I've been keeping up on some of the details of the Wall Street protest, and all I can say is god DAMN! Between Monday and Thursday I spent a hell of a lot of time working on my final for Financial Analysis, a nasty 4 credit class I had this semester. I remember a few years back when I really looked forward to this time of year, heading back up to Vermillion for class. Back to class, back to being able to see my friends from school, back to things being different than in Sioux City. Got to say I find myself missing those days sometimes, and today is one of them.

Where should one draw the line on staying home or leaving early for not feeling well? Had a good news / bad news meeting today. Good news: the coffee bar is a go. Bad news: no assisstant until sometime in 2012.

Bosses did say they want to help with this, and are looking for ways to free up more of my time so I'm not burned out by December. Still a little disappointing though. Well, ok, more than a little disappointing.
