There's a new little cocker girl living at my house. She's 8 1/2 weeks old, is white and buff and is absolutely adorable. I got onto L names for some reason, and decided to go with Lyla, which may have something to do with being a Friday Night Lights fan. But it just seems like a perfect name for her ( Read more... )

She IS adorable. And she seems to be learning fast. She slept or was quiet in her create last night from 10:30 until 4, so I actually got some sleep. And she's doing much better adjusting to being in her crate in the living room during the day.

You should see her play (through the fence) with the big dogs next door. They bark at her so she races back and forth, and they follow her on the other side of the fence. Pretty hysterical. I think she has them wrapped around her tiny paw already!

She is exceedingly lovely. And seems to be learning good behavior fast. Yay!

I think Pansy is starting to adjust. The puppy hasn't actually done anything to her; she just doesn't want it in her house. I'm giving Pansy as many snuggles as I can. She'd get more if she didn't go into hiding.
