Yuk! I hope they read this and take suitable action.

Please let me know if you find a successful cat repellent. I find that usually a dog works, but evidently not in your case - Miss Lyla is just far too cute! In addition to hunting the little family of frogs that have taken up residence in my garden, I've had the fat cat from three doors down plummet from the top of the fence into the middle of a climbing rose and break three of its four main, really quite thick, stems. There's fat cats and there's fat cats. The cat, of course, picked itself up and wandered away, completely oblivious to the poor broken rose.

I suspect that Lyla is not outside enough to scare the cats away, cuteness factor aside. Given our recent oven-like weather, I don't even like to go outside with her for potty trips. But we go since we have no choice.

I'm thinking that most of the baby birds have grown up by now, so maybe they and their parents won't be as vulnerable. I can hope.

Good luck with your fat cat! I would have thought that falling through roses and thorns would have hurt. Of course, by that point, the damage was already done.
